Guide to Removing Engine Manifolds

Model: BMW X3 E83, MK 1 - Years 2003-2010
Part: Engine

Inside the manifold of your car, there are small baffles designed to create an air vortex that enhances combustion when the engine is under load. The baffles are held in place by two screws that can wear out or fuse over time. These baffles deteriorating over time can lead to engine failure. To address this, you could install closure plates that help prevent potential engine damage and may even improve performance. This way, you can ensure a safer engine.
