How to Repair the Lock on the BMW E90

Model: BMW Serie 3 E91, E90, E92 - Years 2005-2013

To repair the vehicle's lock, you must first remove it. Start by detaching the plastic profiles of the door under the armrest, then unscrew the screws that secure the door panel. Remove the inner rubber cover and disconnect the wiring. Unscrew the four screws that hold the lock in place and apply outward pressure to remove the handle. Once the lock is removed, unscrew the screws that secure the aluminum-colored metal plate to the rest of the lock assembly. Proceed to disassemble the remaining parts, taking a photo beforehand to have a clear reference for reassembly. At this point, you can replace the faulty components (rollers, etc.). Finally, reassemble all the components in reverse order.
