Brake Pad and Rotor Replacement

Model: BMW Serie 3 E91, E90, E92 - Years 2005-2013
Part: Brake rotors

If you own a BMW 3 Series, you can see in this video how to replace the brake pads and rotor. Remove the wheel. Take off the caps covering the heads of the side bolts that secure the brake caliper, then remove the bolts themselves. Disconnect the brake sensor connectors, and using a screwdriver, extract the caliper and hang it to the side so it does not obstruct further operations. To detach the rotor, use a screwdriver as a chisel and a hammer. Once removed, take a new one, insert it, and mount it in the same position as the old one. Clean and polish its surface. Now take the new pads, clean the previously removed calipers, and reinstall them. Use a spacer to adjust the gap for the new pads, then insert them. At this point, reinstall the brake caliper as before, remembering to connect the brake sensors, which in this case are replaced with new ones. Reinstall the wheel and, with the vehicle off, press the brake pedal several times (slowly) to ensure the new pads adhere properly.

How to Remove the Air Vents on an Alfa Romeo 159

This video shows how to remove the air vents on an Alfa Romeo 159. Start by using a plastic trim tool to detach the air vents located in the central dashboard; if you have difficulty, obtain metal hooks (as shown in the video) and insert them into the air vent. Once the two hooks are secured to the edges of the air vent, pull them out with your hands until the vent is removed from its housing. Repeat this procedure for the other air vents present on the car's dashboard. Finally, install the new vents.
