How to Reset the Brake Pad Warning Light on BMW E90

This video shows the reset procedure for the brake pad maintenance warning light on the BMW 3 Series E90, as this light remains on even after replacing the brake pads. After replacing the brake pads, get in the car and turn on the ignition without starting the engine.

Once the instrument cluster powers up, press and hold the button located on the left side of the instrument cluster for 3 seconds. Then, press it multiple times until you locate the front brake pad warning light and then the rear one. Once you find the light, press and hold the button for about 3 seconds until the word "reset" appears.

After that, release the button and press it again. At this point, the reset will occur.

Repeat the procedure for the rear brake pad warning light if necessary.
