In this video tutorial, you will see how to manually reset the maintenance light on the BMW 5 Series E60 and E61. This procedure should only be followed after completing the maintenance tasks outlined in the owner's manual. With the instrument cluster powered on, press and hold the left button located under the speedometer until the maintenance menu appears. Scroll through the menu with quick presses of the same button and navigate to the maintenance section you want to reset, for example, the general maintenance section, and press and hold the button one last time until the confirmation appears.
