To remove the "Service Engine Soon" light in the BMW 5 Series, follow these steps: Turn on the car and wait for the "Service Engine Soon" light to illuminate on the dashboard. Purchase an OBD-II diagnostic code reader, which can be connected to the car's diagnostic port. This port is usually located under the dashboard on the driver's side. Connect the OBD-II diagnostic code reader to the car's diagnostic port. Turn on the diagnostic code reader and follow the instructions to scan the error codes present in the BMW 5 Series system. Once you have obtained the error codes, use the diagnostic code reader to clear the stored codes. Disconnect the diagnostic code reader from the car's diagnostic port. Restart the car and check if the "Service Engine Soon" light has turned off.
