To reset the Service light on a BMW 5 Series, press and hold the brake pedal, then turn the ignition on three times in succession. At this point, the Service light message will appear.

Next, press and hold the button located on the left side of the dashboard to display the maintenance interval. Once this is shown, release the button and press it again to completely turn off the light.

After completing the procedure, you can turn off the dashboard.
