In this video, let's see how to disassemble the belt tensioner of the Bmw X3 E83, first generation, following the instructions below. First of all let's disassemble the front bumper and start by removing our V-belt, loosening our belt pretensioner; then we use an extension socket to unscrew the central bolt of our tensioner, as shown in the video. At this point we can remove it and replace it with the new one, inserting it correctly; So let's go put our V-belt and front bumper back together!
