This video shows how to replace the exhausted battery in the remote control of various BMW models, such as the 1 Series, 3 Series, and 5 Series from 2007-2012. We are working on a keyless remote, without an external key. Start by removing the metal key contained within the key itself.

Now, use a screwdriver to remove the cover that conceals the battery.

You can now replace it with a new CR 2032 3V battery. Reassemble the remote and check if it works correctly.

This is a simple and quick job that won't take much time.
