How to reset the service light on the BMW 2 Series

To reset the service warning light on the BMW 2 Series, you need to carry out the following procedure: first you need to turn on the ignition and wait for the data relating to the day, the kilometers of the car and the outside temperature to appear on the car, at this point you have to press the button located at the bottom left of the dashboard and hold it down for about six seconds until the drawing of the car with the service warning light is displayed. At this point, press the key to give the ok and keep it pressed until the reset starts. When the auto starts the reset you can release the button and you have to wait for the reset to finish. At this point the car carries out the reset by itself and once the reset is finished the car will not show any more error messages.
