Here are the steps to disassemble and replace the battery in the key fob for the BMW 2 Series. First, take your key fob and extract the physical key from inside it; then remove the battery compartment, which will allow you to take out the battery inside, as shown in the video.

At this point, install the new battery, of the correct type and with the same designation, inserting it in the correct orientation; reinsert the battery tray and reassemble the physical key, testing the functionality of the remote!
