To replace the cabin fan on the BMW 3 Series, open the glove compartment located on the passenger side: after unscrewing the screws inside and at the bottom, you can completely remove the compartment and access the fan. The fan should be removed from its housing by unscrewing the mounting screws and disconnecting the connectors attached to it. This way, you can install the new replacement part and reassemble the glove compartment.
