Camshaft Replacement Instructions

Model: BMW Serie 5 E34 - Years 1988-1995
Part: Engine

Thoroughly lubricate the sliding elements of the camshaft before placing it in its housing. Once inserted and properly aligned, install the corresponding oil seal in the designated flange, replacing the O-ring gasket. Then, install the flange complete with the oil seal, tighten the respective mounting bolts, and attach the timing belt pulley. Lubricate and insert the control rod and the corresponding valve rocker arms, securing them in place with the respective clips. Repeat the same sequence for the exhaust valves. Adjust the valve clearance using the appropriate eccentric adjusters, and after aligning the timing marks, install the timing belt.
