How can I reset the service light on my BMW 3 Series E46?

Resetting the service warning light on your BMW 3 Series E46 is really simple, and you won't need any tools. Insert the ignition key without turning it, then press and hold the button under the speedometer (slightly to your left). While holding this button down, turn the key to position 1 and turn on the instrument panel (but not the engine). As you can see in the video, when the "reset" light appears, release and then hold down the button again until it flashes, then release and press again and you're done. This procedure must be performed only after having carried out the regular cutting.
