Removing Seat Adjustment Controls

Model: BMW Serie 7 E66, E67, E68, E65, MK 4 - Years 2001-2008

Next to the center console, where the armrest and the joystick for the onboard computer controls are located, you will find the controls for the electric seat adjustment as well as buttons that allow you to save certain settings (consider a vehicle typically driven by two people of different heights); after removing the console from its position, take off the front trim to access the screws underneath that secure the seat control panel; once the screws are removed, pull the panel away from its position, lift the locking tab of the flat bands, and disconnect the connectors. Repeat the same procedure on the other side.
