Replacing Rear Hood Support Struts

The struts (actually gas springs) that support the rear hood during opening and closing are not externally visible like on most cars, but are integrated into the hinges and installed horizontally, hidden under the roof: in the video, the section of the roof concealing the struts has been cut away to clearly show the mounting system and suggest how to install them. At the front, the struts have a ball joint that must be fitted into the respective socket using a large screwdriver; the rear part, on the other hand, must be secured to the hinge with a snap ring.
