This short video tutorial demonstrates how to replace the cabin air filter in a BMW 3 Series. The procedure is very simple and requires no tools other than a completely new filter. First, open the hood. Manually unscrew the three plastic screw clips that hold the cover closed in which the filter is contained. Remove the used filter. Take a new filter and carefully position it in the same location as the one just replaced. At this point, reposition the cover and screw in the three clips as before.
