If the smart key for your BMW X6 second generation (model years 2014-2019) has suddenly stopped working due to a completely dead battery, don't worry because below we will describe the various steps necessary to replace it quickly and safely. First, press the button located on the side of the cover and simultaneously pull out the physical emergency key. Once done, use the same emergency key to remove the back cover. Then locate the dead button battery and replace it with a new one.
