How to Replace the Key Battery of a BMW X6

Start by pressing the button located on the bottom section of the key fob for your BMW X6, then pull out the physical key. Next, unclip the clip that secures the back of the key, then remove it. Once done, you will have access to the dead battery of the key. At this point, remove the battery from its compartment.

After removing the battery, you will have completed the disassembly.

To install the new battery, simply reverse these instructions, and you will have finished replacing the key battery for your BMW X6.
