In order to replace the fuel filler flap on the BMW 7 Series, the cap must be completely unscrewed, after having obviously opened the flap: once the cap has been opened, it will be necessary to pry the lower part of the cover positioned around the cap. This can then be completely detached by removing the corresponding fuel flap together with it. Therefore, it will be possible to insert a new plastic cover around the cap, which also includes a new fuel flap: after installation, it will be necessary to make sure that it opens and closes correctly.
