Where is the cigarette lighter fuse located in the BMW 5 Series?

If the cigarette lighter in your BMW 5 Series E60 has suddenly stopped working, first check the status of the related fuse and, if faulty, replace it easily. As shown in this video, it is located in the fuse box inside the trunk, behind the right panel, and is labeled F61. Its amperage is 7.5A. If it is damaged, replace it with a spare of the same specifications to avoid damaging any connected devices, and always work with the vehicle turned off.
