How to Replace the Cigarette Lighter Fuse on a BMW

In this video, see how to replace the cigarette lighter fuse on a BMW 5 Series E60/E61. There are two fuses located in the trunk area of this vehicle, where the batteries are found, behind the passenger side. There is a small clip that you need to lift to access the spare tire compartment, allowing you to remove the cover that hides the fuse box. The fuse diagram is conveniently indicated on a small card located on the back of the rear seats, showing that the cigarette lighter/power outlet fuses are 61 and 82. So, grab your tweezers and check the fuses. Indeed, fuse number 61 was blown, and after ensuring the car is off, replace it. Now the cigarette lighter will work.
