BMW Serie 5 - Video tutorial
Model: BMW Serie 5
E60, E61
- Years 2003-2010 In this video, we see how to replace the fuse of the cigarette lighter in a BMW 5 Series E60/E61 version. There are two fuses located in the trunk of this car, where the batteries are also located, behind the passenger. There is a small clip that we need to lift to access the spare wheel compartment, and this will allow us to remove the partition that covers the fuse compartment. The fuse diagram is conveniently indicated on a small card located on the back of the rear seats, and it tells us that the fuses for the cigarette lighter/power socket are numbers 61 and 82. So, we take our tweezers and check the fuses. In fact, fuse number 61 was burnt, and after making sure that the car is turned off, we replace it. Now, the cigarette lighter will work.
