In this video tutorial, you will see how to replace the pollen filter on a BMW 1 Series by following some simple steps: the first thing to do is to purchase a new cabin filter from an authorised dealer; the next step is to get inside the vehicle, turn off the engine, and pull the handbrake. The pollen filter on this vehicle can be found in the upper left part of the engine bay, so you need to lift the bonnet and secure it with the appropriate prop. Unscrew the fastening elements of the filter cover using an 8 mm socket; remove the cover of the filter box; take out the filter from its housing, and position a new filter following the arrow on the cabin filter. Reinstall the cover of the filter box.
