Replacing the Rear Suspension Control Arm

Replacing the lower suspension control arm is quite easy: it involves removing the respective mounting bolts. Here’s how to proceed in detail: Lift the vehicle on a lift and remove the rear wheel to facilitate maneuvering (though this step can be skipped). Unscrew and remove the bolt that secures the control arm to the hub support, then repeat the process on the other side to remove the bolt that secures the bushing of the arm to the subframe near the differential. Once the old arm is removed, shift the plastic cover and proceed in reverse for the installation of the new one, using a jack to support the suspension.
