How to replace the rear turn signal bulbs of the BMW X3

Model: BMW X3 MK 1, E83 - Years 2003-2010

To replace the bulbs of the rear side turn signal lights of the 2006 BMW X3, we need to open the trunk and remove the internal side of the rear hood, in order to access the headlight compartment. Remove the internal cover of the headlight and disconnect the bulb from the connector, remove the bulb and insert the new one. Repeat the same operation for the replacement of the left turn signal bulb. After replacing the bulbs, start the car to test their functionality, otherwise it may be necessary to replace the corresponding fuse. If the replacement is successful, close the side cover and the trunk.

To loosen this panel, unscrew the two screws found at its top, just below the handlebar.
