External Mirror Cover Removal Instructions

If the covers of the external rearview mirrors are damaged, with cracked paint or small dents, they will need to be repainted. It is advisable to remove them first. This operation is very simple since the covers are clipped onto the mirror. Just pry along the edges to detach them. It is recommended to use a plastic spatula or wrap the tip of a flat screwdriver with electrical tape to avoid leaving marks.
