How to Replace the Interior Rearview Mirror on BMW E46

Today, you will learn how to replace the interior rearview mirror on the BMW E46 model. To replace the mirror, disconnect the connector; remove the plastic cover of the mirror to access the connector and disconnect it. Then, rotate the mirror counterclockwise to remove it from its mount, pulling firmly but being careful not to damage the plastic arm. Remove the top part of the mirror by pulling it down. Insert the mirror into the arm and connect the connector. Reattach the top and bottom plastic parts to complete the replacement.
