How to Remove the Dashboard and Interior Trims

Model: BMW Serie 5 E39 - Years 1995-2003
Part: Dashboard

The video shows how to remove the inserts inside the vehicle, in the panels on the doors and on the dashboard.
Removing the inserts on the doors is quite simple; they are snap-fit. Start by removing them from the ends while simultaneously moving towards the center, being careful not to lose the metal clips.
The trims on the dashboard are also snap-fit, but note that the insert containing the cruise control button must be removed from the insert after it is detached from the dashboard.
The video demonstrates the procedure on a BMW 5 Series made before the year 2000.
