Replacing the Silent Block Bushing

Model: BMW Serie 3 E46 - Years 1998-2006
Part: Control arm

The failure of the silent block bushing on the suspension control arm is a common issue in BMW models, but the repair is straightforward since you can replace the bushing without removing the entire control arm. It is also easy and economical to find the replacement part in the aftermarket. Lift the vehicle and remove the splash guard for easier access to the bushing housing. Then, unscrew the two mounting bolts of the bushing and remove it, extracting the rubber part as well. Apply grease to the new bushing to facilitate installation on the control arm and tighten the two mounting bolts.

How to Fit Seat Covers on a Renault Clio

How do you fit seat covers on your Renault Clio? Watch this video for guidance. First, move the seat forward and raise the seat base, then remove the headrest from the backrest. Slide the seat cover from the top down over the backrest, removing any controls on the side of the seat if necessary by pulling them towards you. After fitting the upper seat cover, ensure it is around the headrest seals. Fit the lower seat cover on the base, pull the springs with the metal clips and secure them. Use plastic spatulas to assist with the fastening.
