Repairing the glove compartment on the passenger side of the 2014 BMW X3 is a very simple task that you can do on your own, especially with the help of our video tutorial. The first step is to remove the compartment from its housing, so first remove the internal screws and then the external ones.

Once extracted, you can start the repair work. The second step is to remove the movable part, which is the lid, from the rigid part of the compartment.

To do this, you need to disengage the two levers on the sides. The third step is to use plastic glue to bond the separated part of the lid. Once you apply the glue, use pliers to press it and let it sit for a few hours.

Once the glue is dry, reattach the lid to the rigid part and then reinstall the compartment in its housing.
