Removing the battery is a straightforward task, but before disconnecting, ensure you have any activation codes for the radio and/or GPS navigation system. The battery for this car model is located in the trunk, on the side, behind the right rear light.

Once you open the trunk, lift the load floor covering to remove the plastic cover over the battery compartment. Once you reach the battery, disconnect the terminals and remove the mounting bolts for the battery support bracket to extract it from its location.
