- Years 2003-2010 Inside the BMW X3, there are two boxes where the fuses are located: the first one is positioned inside the cabin, at the rear of the glove compartment on the passenger side. To access it, simply open the compartment and the fuses will be visible. These include fuses for the windshield wipers, courtesy lights, etc. The second fuse box is located inside the trunk, behind a cover on the right side of the compartment. Inside this box, there are fuses that control the central locking system, rear lights, etc.
