- Years 2010-2017 Every fuse of the BMW X3 is located inside one of the appropriate fuse boxes that are present inside the vehicle: in this type of car, two boxes are used to contain the fuses. The first one is located inside the passenger compartment, in the rear part compared to the glove compartment: inside it, there will be fuses for the power steering, heated seats, courtesy lights, etc. The second fuse box is instead placed on the side of the engine compartment, behind the panel on the right: inside it, there are fuses for the rear lights, windshield wipers, cooling fan, etc.
