Removal and Replacement of the Window Switch Button

Model: BMW Serie 3 E46 - Years 1998-2006

After removing the entire window switch assembly from the car, remove the button to be replaced. To do this, unlock the snap mechanism on the sides of the assembly at the button itself using a screwdriver. Take the new button and position it in the same housing, in the same position as the previous one, ensuring it snaps in place by using the screwdriver to secure the side clips that hold it to the assembly. The car shown in the maintenance operation is a BMW 3 Series.
