How to Use the Automatic Gearbox of a BMW

Model: BMW Serie 1 MK 2, F20, F21 - Years 2011-2019

In this video, learn how to use the automatic gearbox of a BMW 1 Series. Here, R stands for reverse, N for neutral, D for Drive, which is the normal gear, and P stands for parking. M/S is used for manual driving. To switch between positions, press the button on the left side (unlock), keep your right foot on the brake, and the indicator light will turn on. To park, keep your foot on the brake and press the "P" button located above the lever. Start the engine, ensure you are in "P", and with unlock, shift to "D", release the handbrake, and drive off. If you select "R", release the brake and reverse. For manual driving, shift to "D" and move the lever to the left. The light will turn on for "M/S", and pull it towards you to change gears (the gear number will appear on the display). To downshift, push it. To stop, press "P" for parking while keeping your foot on the brake.
