The following steps will show you how to disassemble and replace the battery of the key fob for the BMW X3. First, take your key fob and remove the physical key from inside it; then, pry off the plastic back cover of the fob to access the battery compartment, as shown in the video. At this point, remove the old battery and replace it with a new one of the correct type and the same specification (in this case, a CR 2032 3V); insert it in the correct orientation and close the fob again!
