How do you reset the Service light on the BMW 1 Series?

The Service indicator that will appear on the instrument panel of the BMW 1 Series can be reset by turning on the instrument panel, turning the key in the corresponding ignition switch: this way it will be possible to navigate within the menu that will appear on the central display of the dashboard. You will need to use the controls located on the central tunnel of the vehicle, selecting the Maintenance option: this way you will be able to select the "Reset" option to make the indicator disappear, also restoring the maintenance interval. At the end of the operation, you will be able to turn off the instrument panel.
