In this short and simple guide, we will see how to disassemble and replace the rear tailgate opening button of the BMW X3. First of all, move to the rear of the vehicle and start levering the side of the button handle to remove it; then disconnect the electrical connector found on the back, as shown in the video. At this point, replace and install the new rear tailgate button, connecting it and verifying its operation; finally, fix the button on the tailgate body.
