By following these simple steps, you will see how to install the rear camera useful for parking maneuvers on a BMW 3 Series. First, get inside the vehicle and start by removing the factory radio by unscrewing all the mounting screws and disconnecting the wiring harness.

Then, install the new multimedia system compatible with the rear camera (usually provided in the kit), as shown in the video. At this point, run the wiring to the rear hatch and install the camera; all that’s left is to adjust the camera until you achieve the correct angle.
