How to Install the Backup Camera in the Trunk Lid of a BMW 3 Series

Let's see how to install the backup camera in the trunk lid of a BMW 3 Series. First, open the trunk lid of the car, then remove the interior trim on the trunk lid by unscrewing the screws on the plastic trim with a screwdriver. Disconnect the license plate light from the trunk and remove the interior trim of the trunk lid using a pry tool (located between the frame metal and the plastic trim). Run the wiring from the camera to the dashboard (connect the power cables to the head unit that supports the camera) of the car. For reassembly, proceed in reverse order.
