How to reset the service light on a BMW X1 E84 version

We can see in this video how to reset the service light of a BMW X1 E84 version. However, it is important to consider a series of general considerations before proceeding: if the battery is disconnected, the onboard clock will stop at the time the battery was disconnected; each service reset is internally counted to determine if an extra service is needed; the reset function will only work if the part to be repaired is at 0% or less of its useful life. Press the start button twice, press again to turn off the engine, press again to start the engine. Press and hold the button at the base of the tachometer for about ten seconds: the service items will appear on the display in order of priority. Select the parts to be repaired by moving the toggle switch up or down. Confirm by pressing the button on the lever, then press the reset button until the "reset" message appears on the display. Release the button and turn off the ignition.
