- Years 2009-2015 In this video, we see how to reset the oil indicator on a BMW X1 F84 version without I-drive: turn on the ignition without starting the engine, then press and hold the onboard computer selection button, located on the lower left side of the dashboard. After about ten seconds, the first service item will be displayed. Press the button repeatedly to scroll through the list and select the necessary reset mode. Press and hold the selection button for about three seconds until the Reset option appears on the display. Press and hold the button again for about three seconds. Reset completed.
