How to reset the brake pad service light on the BMW X1 E84

In the following article, we will see how to reset the brake pad warning light on the BMW X1 E84. For this operation, no tools are needed, and it is recommended to perform the procedure only after having the brakes replaced. To reset the warning light, you must first press and hold the button located to the left of the instrument panel. While holding it down, start the instrument panel. After starting the panel, release the button and press it again, holding it down until the service menu appears. At this point, release the button, press it to navigate the menu until you find the warning light related to the front or rear brakes. Once identified, hold down the button to reset it, wait for the procedure to complete, then release the button and restart the panel to verify that the procedure has been carried out correctly.
