Watch this video to learn how to reset the service light on a BMW X1 E84: press the start button twice. Ensure the onboard clock is correct; service entries will display according to priority.

Press and hold the button located on the left side of the speedometer until a triangle with an exclamation point appears on the display. Release it, then use the menu button on the lever to the left of the steering wheel until the word "reset" appears at the bottom of the screen.

Press and hold the confirmation button: during the procedure, a clock will appear next to the text. When it disappears, you can release the button, and the procedure is complete.
