How to Reset the Service Light on a BMW X1?

It’s time for the service, and we need to perform the maintenance on the vehicle, in this case, a BMW X1 E84 version, so change the engine oil, the filter, and everything else specified in the owner’s manual. After completing the aforementioned tasks, proceed to reset the light: turn on the instrument cluster, press the button to the left of the odometer to display the service warning on the onboard computer, and hold down the BC button on the left stalk to perform the reset. After this, you can turn off the instrument cluster.
