How do you reset the Service light on the BMW X1?

Model: BMW X1 E84 - Years 2009-2015

The Service indicator that appears on the instrument panel of the BMW X1 can be reset by turning on the instrument panel, inserting the ignition key and pressing the appropriate button next to the steering column: once the instrument panel is turned on, you can hold down the button on the bottom left of the panel to access the menu. By lowering the lever on the left side of the steering wheel, you can scroll through the menu until you find the item with the kilometers remaining until the next service: then you must hold down the BC button on this lever to make the Service indicator disappear.
