How to replace Buick Encore Gx 1.3L engine oil and oil filter

Today we will see how to carry out the routine maintenance service of the Buick Encore Gx oil change, replacing the engine oil and oil filter. First we open the engine hood and unscrew the engine oil filler cap; we lift the car and unscrew the oil vent bolt, letting it drain in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we unscrew the oil filter cartridge and replace it with the new one; screw it by hand and then tighten with a key. Finally, pour the new engine oil (in this case a 0W20), checking the level using the dipstick.
