To change the engine oil of the Buick Encore GX, open the hood to access the components inside the engine bay. Here you will find the oil filter, which needs to be unscrewed to remove it from its housing. Once it is removed, replace it with a new one, then unscrew the oil drain plug at the bottom of the engine bay. Once all the oil has drained out, refill it through the designated filler located inside the engine bay.
