To replace the oil and the oil filter of the Cadillac Elr, we start by going under the car, with a special key we unscrew the oil filter and let it drain into a container, drain the oil from the filter we remove and clean its seat; now we take the new oil filter, screw it with the special key; having screwed the filter, unscrew the oil drain plug with a 14 socket wrench and let the oil drain into a container; once the oil has drained, clean the seat of the cap and screw it back on with the 14 socket wrench; now let's go to the engine, unscrew the oil filler cap, pour the liters indicated by the manufacturer and when we are approximately at the indicated liters, check the level with the dipstick (the level must be checked the second time you remove the dipstick) and if the level is on the "max" notch the level is fine, otherwise top up.
