How to replace the oil filter and engine oil of the Chevrolet Captiva

Replacing the oil filter and motor oil on the Chevrolet Captiva is a really simple and quick operation to do on your own. Before starting the oil replacement, open the front hood and unscrew the oil tank cap. Then, lift the vehicle and use a wrench to remove the nut that locks the oil pan and let all the motor oil drain into a container. Once the motor oil has finished draining, tighten the nut on the oil pan and after lowering the vehicle back to the ground, go back to the front hood and locate the nut that locks the oil filter cap. Remove and insert a new filter inside. Refill the motor oil into the tank and start the vehicle to ensure that the entire operation was successful.
